Products are grown on our family farm located 12 miles north of Historic Edenton, NC. Each product is produced with skills, care, and technology passed down through many generations. We have an old grist mill on the farm. We grind some of our certified organic corn yearly for family and friends. We even hand tie each and every bag of cornmeal with cotton twine.
Cotton is my specialty; I love to raise a nice crop of cotton. We go the extra mile to give each cotton plant the nutrients, time, and care it needs to optimally produce. Effectively producing top yields and high quality is our goal. Our farm works closely with North Carolina department of Soil and Water conservation to ensure clean water and productive top soil for generations to come.

Learning to raise a new crop is exciting and challenging. I think my biggest lesson was, hemp loves water but not wet feet. I lost many hemp plants in 2019. Honestly, a little disheartening but that failure was a great teacher.
2015 I raised my first crop of certified organic cotton. We moved into the organic side of cotton to fill the need in the Electronic Cigarette Industry for a safe, clean, thick fiber cotton. The cotton is used as a wick to carry the vaping/vapor oils up to or into the coil. We developed a safe process to remove the natural oils and waxes from the cotton fibers to increase absorption and decrease break in time. Break in times as low as 0.
